Student Statement.

What interests drives you?

For my subject of choice I would like to concentrate on body confidence as I can experiment with a lot of different materials and use different mediums. I get to be creative and use my personal experiences and emotions on my work which I find that its key to understand and for your work to have a means to you and can speak out to others. This year I would like to mainly concentrate on photography and maybe a little bit of experiments with other mediums such as print making.

What materials do you think might best serve your investigations? What media/areas do you intend to explore?

I personally think the materials would best suit my subject idea is photography Because I want to try something different yet appealing and creative. I want my subject to have a feeling of emotion and deepness and for everyone to understand the purpose of my subject "body Image".

How will you measure your success?

Every week I will set myself certain tasks and experiment with different photoshop effects and research artists that have similar interests to me.

Crit Assessment.

For this part of the module we had to attend 6 critical assesments which a group of people each week for 6 weeks had to present 1 bit of their work to talk about infront of the class. For my crit, I chose to present a small trasfer I made sure my expernting stage of using different materials. Although one student in partiular stood out to me which I thought her work was the best of of most the crits I attened. I thought her work was very creative and different, I didn't seen much like it before, especially in the art community. She does both painting and sculptures but also dabbles in print making. Here are some photgraphs in which she has put all over the University building for everyone to enjoy and see.
